Matrix 4 Set Video Teases Trinity's New Powers

It's no secret that Neo can do pretty much anything after he tapped into his full potential in the Matrix films. But is it possible that he is also able to share this ability with others? A new video taken from the set of The Matrix 4 may have confirmed that Trinity has gained some of Neo's powers.

The set video features Neo and Trinity jumping off a building and falling for a few moments. However, they start to hover for a while then Trinity reaches out to take Neo's hand. Amazingly, she then pulls him up and they begin to fly upwards. Take a look at the video below.

According to Screenrant, the video actually shows two stuntmen rehearsing a scene while the film crew is "testing sandbags" for their fall. It's highly unlikely that Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves, who will play Trinity and Neo respectively, were on the set for the scene.

It's interesting to note that Trinity appears to be the one with powers in the scene. There are speculations that the sequence will mirror what happened in the first movie where Morpheus convinces Neo to use his powers to leap over buildings. However, it will be Trinity who will be showing Neo the ropes in The Matrix 4. This should be an interesting twist in the sequel.

The still-untitled sequel will also star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Eréndira Ibarra, Priyanka Chopra and Andrew Caldwell. The Matrix 4 is scheduled for release on May 21, 2021.
