Marvel's Eternals Characters Could be Introduced in Avengers 4 or Captain Marvel

We know that Marvel Studios is working on Eternals movie, but that film could be getting into production sooner than we expected. As it turns out, the movie is actually casting two roles for the film now, and it's possible whoever gets cast will appear in one of next year's MCU films.

This comes from insider @DanielRPK:

Of course we should take this with a grain of salt until something official is announced, but the source is known to be reputable and has been reporting things accurately for some time.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 meant to start the fourth Phase of Marvel films, everything was suddenly pulled off the table when Disney fired director James Gunn. Now the film is on an indefinite hiatus, and Eternals could be Marvel's answer to the delay.

As for the appearance of these Eternals characters, it's very likely that they could make cameos as soon as Captain Marvel. After all, the movie is doing pick-ups right now; it's just a matter of how long it takes to cast the characters and how relevant they actually are to the film.

For now, fans are waiting for the drop of the Avengers 4 trailer which is said to come out this month. With November only a week left, it seems that Marvel is going to hold out until December. Then again, a release of Friday the 30th seems like a good time.

Catch Avengers 4 in theaters May 3, 2019.
