Marvel Runaways Casts Buffy Villain as Pride Member

The newest Marvel TV series, Runaways, is on the fast track to completing its cast. Following the confirmation of the cast of the children with superpowers, now Marvel has unveiled the cast for the villainous parents for the series.

Hulu's upcoming series basically puts together an awesome cast of villain moms and dads, all of whom have a good history in TV or movies. The cast list for the Pride (via Newsarama) has been released together with the description:

Geoffrey Wilder (Ryan Sands) is the father of Alex, and one who is seems like an almost two-faced father and strategist.
Catherine Wilder (Angel Parker): Loyal and loving as a mother, she becomes the opposite as a cold and calculating lawyer.
Tina Minoru (Brittany Ishibashi): A ruthless CEO and visionary, she is the stereotypical tiger mom, who has difficulty handling emotional conversations and situations with daughter Nico.
Robert Minoru (James Yaegashi): He becomes the right-hand man to his wife, and a surprising warm man, which can be a struggle as a complete opposite to his wife.
Stacey Yorkes (Brigid Brannagh): A freestyle parent as seen in her freestyle appearance, she is a bioengineer who has a more modernized parenting style to Gert.
Dale Yorkes (Kevin Weisman): More inclined towards the sciences, he can be a little awkward when talking to family.
Leslie Dean (Annie Wersching): A skilled leader and charismatic force, she is serves as the main inspiration for success and charm to everyone including her daughter Karolina.
Frank Dean (Kip Pardue): He appears to be a full-time father to Karolina following the rather short-lived career as a teen star
Victor Stein (James Marsters): An engineering genius who is a source person eve for NASA and the military. He may not be the most understanding father, especially when Victor doesn't meet is expectations.
Janet Stein (Ever Carradine): The PTA mom whose just as brilliant but equally understanding of her husband's career.
"This cast is an abundance of riches. We are so excited to have assembled our Pride, though for the fate of humanity we should be very concerned."

The Pride cast members are very interesting and very diverse. I'm looking forward to James Marsters, seeing as how I am a big fan of Spike back in his Buffy the Vampire Slayer days.

Runaways doesn't have a release date yet, but it's already in pre-production and set to come out on Hulu.
