After months of anticipation, Marvel finally released the very first trailer for Joe and Anthony Russo's superhero mash-up movie, Avengers: Infinity War.
There was a lot of speculation that the trailer might drop today after the Russo brothers put up a mysterious post showing off the number 3 on their Facebook account back on Monday, and Marvel eagerly confirmed everyone's suspicions by rolling out a teaser video for the trailer. Now that the official preview of the first of the highly anticipated two-part Avengers movie is out, Marvel has also decided to release Avengers: Infinity War's official synopsis.

"An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay."
Ambitious and epic, it looks like Marvel fans are in for one heck of a ride as they wait to see Earth's greatest heroes battle with the Mad Titan Thanos in an attempt to save the planet.
