There's a lot of anticipation building up over Marvel's big superhero mash-up movie Avengers: Infinity War and though the studio's been revealing very little about the movie, Marvel President Kevin Feige promises Marvel fans that a trailer for the first installment of the two-part movie is going to come pretty soon.

Speaking in an interview with Comicbook about Infinity War, Feige says that Marvel fans might get their first preview of the superhero mash-up movie later this year after being asked by the publication on the trailer release date.

"It's a good question," Feige replied. "I'm not sure. I think it would be late summer, early, mid fall? Ragnarok, probably."

Thor: Ragnarok which releases in November this year is a good time to release the trailer for Infinity War with the mash-up movie scheduled to premiere in May next year.

Aside from the trailer release, the Marvel President also revealed that the movie would be influenced by the superhero movies releasing right before Infinity War.

"Very heavily," Feige told the publication. "Very heavily, as Iron Man and Captain America influenced the first Avengers. More so than the movies leading into Age ofUltron, even. They really build up to that."

Of course, it makes sense that Infinity War would lean on other Marvel movies – after all the Marvel cinematic universe's films are interconnected.

Avengers: Infinity War hits the big screen on May 4, 2018.
