Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige let slip that the studio actually has plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe all the way up to 2024 but that doesn't mean that the studio can't change the line-up for its upcoming films.

According to a report that's made its way online thanks to The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit, a "mystery Marvel movie" that was previously scheduled for a July 30, 2021 release has now been moved to an earlier date on February 12, 2021.

That's about six months earlier than it was originally scheduled for. While it would definitely be interesting seeing everyone guess what this mystery film might be, there's been a lot of speculation that this new February 12 release date is intended for the Black Panther sequel.

Not only does the new February release date for the film fall around the same window as Black History month, the original Black Panther movie also made its big premiere during a February movie.

The very first all-Black film in the MCU, Black Panther became a commercial and critical success while it struck a major chord among fans from different minorities, including the African American group. Though it might be a long way from the release of Avengers 4, we're still pretty happy that Marvel's going to work on Black Panther 2.
