There might have been a lot of excitement over the Wasp's (Evangeline Lily) new suit, but it seems like fans' eagerness for the costume has fizzled into concern after netizens on the internet have discovered an unfortunate surprise.
Though the Wasp costume has Hope Van Dyne all covered up, it seems like fans have been able to notice a rather sexual element to the suit's design. Looking at the suit upside down, netizens noticed that Wasp's outfit has a phallic-looking symbol right in the middle of the suit.
Now the image is making the rounds online, with a lot of fans lamenting over the suit's design process, saying that Ant-Man And The Wasp's costume designers ought to have noticed the slip-up before greenlighting the new suit.
Fans are also complaining that it's hard to unsee the penis running across The Wasp's torso. With a suit update for the Wasp being very unlikely, fans who've noticed the phallic shape on The Wasp's suit are probably going to have a hard time watching Ant-Manand The Wasp.
Marvel might not make any changes despite fans concerns, but if they do, we wonder what kind of replacement the studio will make to fix the penis running across the Wasp's suit.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set for release on July 6, 2018.
