We've already seen Mark Hamill as a grumpy old Jedi training a young student in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Interestingly, Hamill's new role in Knightfall Season 2 is pretty similar, except he's a grumpy medieval knight.

The new promo for Knightfall Season 2 focuses on Hamill's character Talus, who happens to be an older knight who is training the younger generation of knights. However, he also seems to dislike anyone who doesn't abide by his rules. "Defy me, and be gone forever," he growls at one hapless trainee. Talus may be old but that doesn't mean he's staying away from the main battle. Watch the awesome teaser below.

The more you see Talus, the greater the similarities are between the character and Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi. However, Hamill himself has pointed out that Talus is "unlike any character I've ever played." Needless to say, we're looking forward to seeing Hamill in action this March.

Hamill's appearance in Knightfall Season 2 is certainly a welcome one considering that people are still waiting for any updates on Star Wars: Episode IX. Although we already know that Hamill will return as Luke in the still-untitled sequel, it is still unclear whether we will be seeing him as a Force-ghost or in flashback sequences. Hopefully, we'll learn more about Episode IX at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration.

Catch Hamill as Talus in Knightfall Season 2, which premieres on the History Channel on March 25. Star Wars: Episode IX is still scheduled for release on December 20.
