Mark Hamill Admits He Terrified His Daughter By Using Joker Voice

Most people probably wish they were related to Mark Hamill. After all, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor is a true legend and seems like a fun guy. However, Hamill's own daughter claims that her father actually terrified her as a child. Interestingly, the Knightfall star admitted that it had a lot to do with him using his iconic Joker voice from Batman: The Animated Series.

Hamill recently shared an article on his Twitter account. The article focuses on his daughter Chelsea Hamill, who claims that her father once sang Happy Birthday to her using the Joker's voice. Hamill confessed to the "crime" in his tweet but it doesn't sound like he's completely sorry about it, either.

"I never said I did EVERYTHING right," Hamill wrote. He added the Joker emoji as well as the hashtag #JokerInducedTrauma.

All kidding aside, it looks like Hamill certainly raised his children right. In fact, Chelsea actually had a small role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi where she played a Resistance fighter Koo Millham who was one of the survivors who fought on the planet Crait. In addition to that, his other children Nathan and Griffin were part of the same sequence.

So yes, although Hamill is prone to using the Joker voice around the house, you can still rest assured that Luke Skywalker is a great dad. Let's just hope that he doesn't start leaving voicemail using his Chucky voice soon.

Hamill will return (perhaps for the last time) as Luke in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which hits theaters on December 20.
