Here's A Look At The New Magic: The Gathering—Rise of the Gatewatch

There's a new Magic: The Gathering art book dedicated to the members of the Gatewatch, MTG's multidimensional version of Avengers, and it's called Magic: The Gathering—Rise of the Gatewatch. The new art book is set to be released in a few weeks from Abrams ComicArt, and they will feature gorgeous artwork featuring some of the most famous planeswalkers in Magic's epic story: Jace Beleren, Kaya, Chandra Nalaar, Nissa Revane, Ajani Goldmane, Liliana Vess, Teferi, and Gideon Jura.

IO9 has revealed the cover art for Magic: The Gathering—Rise of the Gatewatch as well as some preview images from the upcoming art book that provides a visual history of each Gatewatch planeswalker, from their past to the recent epic events of the War of the Spark expansion in the popular trading card game. The book features some artwork never seen in any cards before as well as banner art made for conventions.
