The free-to-play digital version of Magic: The Gathering, Magic Arena, has launced on the Epic Game Store alongside the game's new set Theros Beyond Death on Sunday.
MTG Arena's Epic Games launch coincides with the release of latest card set Theros Beyond Death, marking two major milestones for the game in a single day.
Epic Games is now the exclusive third-party PC download partner but players will fans will still be able to directly download MTG Arena on MTGArena.com. Those currently playing Arena on the Wizards platform will not be required to create Epic accounts, and players will still be able to play against each other regardless of where they downloaded the game.
Theros Beyond Death just had its prerelease weekend in tabletop locations across the world, and Magic Arena players can now play with the new cards in various formats available in the game, including Standard, Historic, Booster Draft, and Sealed.
MTG Arena is slowly expanding its availability as Wizards of the Coast is also planning to release the game on Mac.
Theros Beyond Death, the 83rd Magic: The Gathering expansion, is set to release on January 24, 2020.
