Lucifer Star Tom Ellis Addresses Possible Crisis On Infinite Earths Cameo

It's no secret that there's going to be a lot of characters that will show up in Crisis on Infinite Earths. But is Lucifer actually joining the highly anticipated Arrowverse crossover event? Tom Ellis has just spoken up about his surprise cameo.

Ellis recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight while working on the final season of his Netflix series. Unfortunately, he also confirmed that he won't be a part of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

"No. Hard pass. Sorry. Sorry fans," Ellis said.

But wait, why was the Lucifer actor spotted on the set of Crisis on Infinite Earths in the first place? Ellis had an acceptable explanation for that.

"OK, see ... This is what happens. I go to Vancouver for the weekend to visit my friend for his birthday and now suddenly I'm in a different show!" he said.

It might be heartbreaking news for fans who were hoping that Lucifer Morningstar will have an appearance in the crossover event. Unfortunately, that's just not happening anytime soon.

It was previously reported that Ellis was seen hanging out with Arrow star David Ramsay as well as Legends of Tomorrow actors Katherine McNamara and Matt Ryan. Although it would be great to see Lucifer helping out the DC heroes for a change, it looks like Ellis' character will stay firmly in his own universe.

The final season of Lucifer is currently in production and is expected to air on Netflix by 2020. Crisis on Infinite Earths will kick off with the Supergirl episode on December 8.
