What Happened in Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 Episode 2?
The episode begins with a typhoon in the Honshuu area, where Komi and her family are currently residing. Despite being excited to go to school, local authorities have issued a hurricane warning, resulting in the cancellation of morning classes.
During the typhoon's wrath, Komi is terrified by the constant thunder strikes and the power outage. Tadano calls Komi and inquires about her situation. Tadano makes a sweet gesture by accompanying and calming Komi until the typhoon passes, while Komi's mother listens in the background.
The second part takes place in the aftermath of the typhoon, where Yamai Ren has an insatiable desire to see Komi's panties. As a result, she invites Komi outside into the schoolyard, where a large puddle has formed due to the rain.
Yamai, accompanied by Najimi and Tadano, waits in anticipation to see Komi's panties in the puddle's reflection. However, her plans fail when a rainbow appears in front of everyone and Yamai notices Komi's beautiful face with the rainbow as a backdrop.
The third section recounts an otome-dating simulation created by Yamai's group of friends. Shigeo, Shinobino, and Taisei reimagine every girl in their class during dates while Tadano overhears the conversation. The fourth segment of the episode revisits Komi's fondness for cats, as she is amused by a cat café on television.
As a result, she invites Tadano, who declines because he wants Komi to practice her invitation skills on someone other than him. He later regrets it in the end. As a result, Onemine and Kaede accompany Komi to the cat café, where the latter transforms into a terrifying figure in the eyes of the cats. Komi meets the black cat Shokora, the boss of all the cats in the café, who is the only one who gets close to Komi.
The episode concludes with Yamai Ren starting a love-expressing game in order to trick Komi into saying she loves her. While Najimi and Yamai become more at ease saying I Love You to Komi, the latter's emphatic expression remains constant.
Having said that, Najimi plays his trump card by duping Tadano into saying the words of love for Komi. Tadano begins to say I Love You to Komi with an embarrassed and flushed face, only to be interrupted by Najimi. While Komi's face remains unchanged, it appears that on the inside, Komi is resisting the urge to hear everything Tadano says.
