Kingsman: The Golden Circle Will Not Have A Post-Credits Scene

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is one of the most anticipated releases of the month. The first Kingman was an excellent spy film that outdid the original comic series in a number of ways, whilst also making the spy genre feel fresh. It also has Matthew Vaughn directing, which is a pretty big deal since he usually doesn't helm sequels to films he's worked on (see Kickass and X-Men: First Class).

One thing fans shouldn't anticipate, however, is a post-credit sequence.

Bleeding Cool has confirmed that the film does not have any extra scenes during the mid-credits or the post-credits. Those hoping for some sort of clue to Kingsman 3, if we ever get one, will have to wait for official confirmations from the studio. While post-credit scenes are usually a Marvel thing, keep in mind that films like Kick-Ass 2, Suicide Squad and Pirates of the Caribbean 5 had them, so anything is possible.

While the lack of an after-credits sequence could be considered disappointing, it might be a breath of fresh air to those that just want to leave after the film ends. If anything, it shows that Vaughn wants to keep these films self-contained for the most part, which is never a bad thing.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is slated for a September 22 release. Reviews for the film have been quite positive thus far, so it looks like fans of the original are in for a good time.
