Kingdom Hearts 3 Launch Updates Add Epilogue, Secret Movie, and Memory Archive

Kingdom Hearts 3 is only weeks away and fans are going crazy for it. This is a game that fans have literally been waiting a decade for, so the fact that it's actually coming out this month is a miracle to some. Most fans are probably going to get it on day one and play the hell out of it right away but they may want to wait a bit as Square Enix has detailed some updates that will be coming that will enhance the experience.

The day one update will not just have several gameplay fixes like most games but will also add the Memory Archive for those that need to remember their Kingdom Hearts lore. Memory Archive will detail the events of previous games so those that need a reminder of this series' complicated lore will appreciate this. The update comes out on January 29, just like the game.

On January 30, an update will be released that adds the game's epilogue, which is an interesting choice. Players will need to have beaten the game to get this video and we doubt that will be possible in day one, seeing as how there will supposedly be 80 hours of content, at least according to game director Tetsuya Nomura.

Finally, to the end this month, January 31 will add the Secret Movie to the game, which is basically a tradition at this point. Players will need to complete specific parts of the main story if they want to achieve this, which will depend on the difficulty chosen. Previous games have made the Secret Movie easily available to those that play it on the hardest difficulty, which will probably be the prerequisite again.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on January 29. Are your hearts ready?
