Kevin Feige Teases Howard The Duck's Future In The MCU

Howard the Duck was probably the last character everyone was expecting to see in the post-credits scene for Guardians of the Galaxy but it looks like we'll be seeing more of him in future Marvel films.

During a press conference for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Marvel head Kevin Feige talks about Howard, and consequences of having him exist in the MCU. He says:

"You know, the fun thing about Howard is he shows up where you least expect him, so like who knows where he's going to appear next?"

Thanks to Guardians, Howard has actually been getting a lot more popular, and he even has a whole new comic for a new generation of fans. I haven't updated myself with the comic recently, but it was pretty fun when I was getting into it.

[MINOR SPOILER FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2]

Though it's not really a big plot point, Howard actually comes back in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and with the universe expanding, it would be hilarious if they were somehow able to shoehorn him into Avengers: Infinity War. How fun would it be to see him and Tony Stark share a drink?

[END SPOILERS]

Best chances are Howard will only exist in the cosmic universe of Marvel, so look out for him in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which comes out May 5, or Avengers: Infinity War which comes out May 4, 2018.
