One of the newcomers who will be introduced in Star Wars: The Last Jedi is Kelly Marie Tran's character, but details about her role has been kept under wraps, but during the panel at Star Wars Celebration Orlando today, we get a bit of information about the character, and what director Rian Johnson thinks about her.
Kelly Marie Tran, who's best known for her College Humor originals, showed up on stage to talk to briefly talk about her character,
"She's part of the Resistance, and she works at maintenance," Marie Tran said.
Rian Johnson revealed that her character's name is Rose, and added that she's an "unlikely hero. Any of us can turn into a hero. She's not a soldier, not looking to be a hero and pulled in a really big way, and Kelly just embodies that for me."
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
