Keanu Reeves' The Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 Share the Same Release Date

Fans of Keanu Reeves have been looking forward to his upcoming movies, which are both the fourth installments of the movies' franchises. But that's not just the only thing his movies got in common, and it will surely get the people quite surprised.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has revealed that The Matrix 4 will make its debut on May 21, 2021. Sounds familiar? Well, it's because John Wick: Chapter 4 also has the same release date.

It's certainly surprising and a bit strange to put two movies on the same day. Regardless, fans are excited for these movies to come out, and for some, they will even get to see Reeves twice on the same day. This is certainly epic especially since having the same release dates isn't done quite often.

On the other hand, this will literally result in a battle of Keanu vs. Keanu, and it'll be interesting to see how everything turns out for both movies. For now, these movies have the same release dates, but there is a chance that this could change in the long run.

For now, not much is known about the plot details on both John Wick 4 and Matrix 4. However, it is known that Lana Wachowski will be directing a sequel for The Matrix, while Chad Stahelski will be in-charge of John Wick: Chapter 4.

The Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 is set for release on May 21, 2021.
