Justice League Trailer’s Theatrical Cut Features A New Line From Aquaman

Warner Bros. has just recently released a theatrical cut of the new Justice League trailer they debuted at the San Diego Comic Con last month and while most of the shots remain the same, the preview does add an extra line.

Cutting the four-minute long preview they debuted at the Justice League panel at the convention, the studio didn't put in any new footage for the theatrical cut, but it did add a previously unreleased line. In this version of the Justice League trailer, fans get to hear Jason Momoa's Aquaman spit out a line referring to Steppenwold and his parademon legion in exasperation.

"This is crazy, fighting the devil and his army in hell," Aquaman says around the 56-second mark in the Justice League trailer.

The added line isn't much, but the theatrical cut certainly does shorten the lengthy SDCC preview enough to showcase the superhero movie's major points. We wonder when Warner Bros. going to drop a new trailer with new footage.

Here's the synopsis for Justice League:

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."

Justice League premieres November 17, 2017.
