Justice League Snyder Cut Success Could Lead to Sequel, Man of Steel 2

People are already satisfied with the idea that they will finally get to see Zack Snyder's original vision for Justice League next year. But will the Snyder Cut also lead to bigger things for the DC Extended Universe? There are speculations that the success of the highly anticipated director's cut will eventually help greenlight a Justice League sequel as well as Man of Steel 2.

YouTuber Grace Randolph has shared some insider information about the Snyder Cut, suggesting that Warner Bros. has high hopes for the project which could help push the DC Extended Universe forward (via Twitter).

"I've heard from another source that word is WB wants Snyder to put stuff into the #SnyderCut to set up MoS2 and JL2 so if it's a huge hit they can move forward," Randolph wrote. "We'll see if that happens, but that's what WB is thinking."

It's no surprise that Warner Bros. is currently hoping to catch a break with the Snyder Cut. After all, most of the DCEU projects have been sidelined due to waning interest in the films. However, if the director's cut of Justice League manages to set up the future movies AND become a huge success, it could mean these projects have potential all over again.

For now, HBO Max has not yet given the Justice League Snyder Cut an official release date. Nevertheless, fans are already looking forward to the director's cut, which will premiere on the streaming service in 2021.
