Jurassic World 2 Production Begins Jeff Goldblum’s Filming

A lot of fans were pretty excited when word got out that Jeff Goldblum would be reprising his role as the "Chaos Theory" mathematical specialist Ian Malcolm in J.A. Bayona's Jurassic World 2. The unintentionally seductive know-it-all mathematician who debuted in the original Jurassic Park became a surprise favorite and many were glad to learn that Ian would be making a comeback in the Jurassic World sequel.

To add to the hype, Colin Trevorrow, the film's writer and producer, has just decided to show off a photo of a Jurassic World 2 set photo on Twitter to announce that Goldblum has already begun filming his role in the film.

Check it out down here:

Production has been going on for quite some time, and since Goldblum has just recently been added into the mix, it's likely that Malcolm won't have that much screentime in the sequel to Trevorrow's Jurassic World. After all, the franchise is now on to a new generation of stars with Chris Pratt playing the part of Navy veteran and Velociraptor trainer Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard playing the part of park operations manager, Claire Dearing. Despite the expected minimal participation, it's still pretty exciting to have Malcolm back on the big screen. We wonder if he'd do that sexy Ian Malcolm pose in Jurassic World 2 too.

Jurassic World 2 comes stomping into cinemas on June 22, 2018.
