Calling the entire drama between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard "complicated" is certainly an understatement. However, new reports suggest that the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star may have tried to get his ex-wife removed from the DC Extended Universe flick Aquaman.

According to Heroic Hollywood, former Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara has been asked to serve as one of the witnesses in a lawsuit Depp filed against his former representative Jake Bloom. Tsujihara is being asked to provide testimony against the lawsuit alleging Bloom gave Depp bad legal advice regarding his divorce from Heard and other things.

Interestingly, a source notes that "Tsujihara will be asked to testify under oath about whether or not he played a role in ‘blacklisting' Heard at Warner Bros." Depp allegedly tried to use his starring role in the second Fantastic Beasts movie as leverage to convince Tsujihara to fire his ex-wife from Aquaman and some reports even state that he had tried to get Heard blacklisted from other studios.

The allegations are certainly shocking especially now that the former Pirates of the Caribbean star is trying to sue Heard for domestic abuse. For now, Tsujihara is expected to testify under oath in Bloom's case.

If this is true, Depp's attempts to get Heard blacklisted were certainly not successful. The actress is currently expected to reprise her role as Mera in Aquaman 2, which is scheduled for release in 2022.

Heard filed for divorce from Depp in 2016 and immediately obtained a temporary restraining order against the actor. The actress stated that Depp had been "verbally and physically abusive" throughout their marriage. Earlier this year, Depp sued Heard for defamation following her op-ed on The Washington Post where she maintained that she was a domestic abuse victim. Heard has since asked the judge to dismiss the lawsuit.
