Joe Manganiello Gives Vague Update On Deathstroke Movie

The post-credit sequence of Justice League revealed that Deathstroke might be teaming up with Lex Luthor to take down the group of heroes. Joe Manganiello has confirmed that he was going to be playing the mercenary for Ben Affleck's TheBatman before Matt Reeves took over. There was then talk of a Deathstroke film but nothing has come since.

Manganiello has now given an update on the DC villain's movie and it is pretty vague. This doesn't mean the character isn't going to get a film, though it seems like it won't be happening anytime soon.

Variety asked how Manganiello how the film was doing during the red carpet premiere of Rampage. The actor didn't give away any major details on the film or how it's doing but he did state something vague: "There are things in the work, that's all I can say."

It's clear that the Deathstroke film won't be coming out anytime soon, though fans are hoping he appears in future DCEU films. The fact that we saw Manganiello in full costume at the end of Justice League was considered a big deal and we can only hope that it's followed up on.
