Details about James Gunn's The Suicide Squad are still kept under wraps and fans can't wait to see which characters will make an appearance in the film. Production for the movie is currently underway and it looks like the director has left a cryptic tease for fans to decipher.

The Suicide Squad star Daniela Melchoir shared a photo on her Instagram account showing her trailer at the set. The image marks the 68th day of filming for the movie. Gunn left a comment on the actress's post which was just a series of emojis. These were emojis of four animals: an eagle, a tiger, a horse, and a rat.

The eagle most likely represents the character Peacemaker, who wears an Eagle insignia on his chest. This is the character that John Cena is rumored to play. The tiger could be referring to Bronze Tiger, while the horse would most likely represent Knight. The rat, of course, represents the Ratcatcher.

Fans have been guessing as to who these characters represent and would be played by, but for now, there's not much revealed yet, so fans could only wait and see.

The Suicide Squad sees the return of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. Amongst the newcomers to the beloved franchise include Idris Elba, John Cena, Taika Waititi, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson, and several others.

James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is set for release on August 6, 2021.
