Jacob Kowalski Returns With Newt In Image From Fantastic Beasts 2

We thought that Jacob Kowalski's run with the Wizarding world had ended with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but it looks like Newt is dragging him back into the mess with the sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Thanks to Total Film, we have a new image of Jacob tagging along with Newt.

Check it out:

With Newt being the introvert that he is, the first movie presented us with Jacob Kowalski, a muggle/no-maj who was friends with everyone. By the end of the film, Jacob was running his own bakery, for now, we have no idea why Newt wants to bring him back into the mess.

Though I thought the first Fantastic Beasts was kind of forgettable, Dan Fogler's Jacob was definitely one of the more likeable characters. He provided a great foil for Newt, and I think it's cool that he actually gets the love interest this time around.

Here's the synopsis:

Magizoologist Newt Scamander joins forces with wizard Albus Dumbledore to battle the devious Gellert Grindelwald in 1920s Paris.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald comes out Nov. 16, 2018.
