Injustice: Year Zero Will Have Batman and Superman 'At the Peak of Their Friendship'

Injustice: Year Zero has seemingly leaked ahead of schedule a while back since the DC series has only been formally announced now, though fans are still pretty excited. This version of the DC universe has some of the best versions of Batman, Green Arrow, Superman, and so much more, which is why fans love reading it, while also hating the story since all of their favorites die. That won't be the case with Year Zero, which is a prequel story where all the killing hasn't happened yet.

Writer Tom Taylor spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the Injustice prequel comic, which will have Batman and Superman "at the peak of their friendship." The series will also have a united Justice League, though there will probably be an atmosphere of tragedy since we all know where this series is heading. Still, seeing these characters get along would be really nice.

"This is Superman and Batman at the peak of their friendship. Lois and Clark as a team. The Justice League united, and the Justice Society as a shining example for all. Of course, by its very nature, there's going to be tragedy and shocks and deaths, but there will be hope, there will be triumph, there will be love with the loss and heart alongside the hurt."

Of course, most of us are hoping for an Injustice 3 to be announced since the first two games were quite good. The first game showed that you can make a fun fighting game with DC heroes that's also filled with fun single-player content. Injustice 2 improved the visuals to an amazing extent, had a better story mode but also suffered a bit with the gear collecting, even if it was kind of addicting.
