Iconic Actress and Mother of Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Has Died at 84

The AP has reported that Carrie Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds, died today from a stroke. TMZ learned earlier today that Debbie was hospitalized after suffering a stroke while making funeral arrangements for her daughter, Carrie Fisher.

The LA Fire Department also confirmed that they responded to a call at Todd Fisher's (Debbie's son) home, in Beverly Hills, regarding an "adult" female" in "fair to serious condition" which resulted in a tranport to a nearby hospital.

Debbie had recently tweeted news on Christmas day, thanking everyone for well wishes to her daughter Carrie after a major cardiac event when flying from London to LAX, which ultimately took her life.

Debbie leaves behind a legacy as an actress, singer, entertainer, businesswoman, film historian, and humanitarian. She was 84 years old.
