Now that we may be seeing a different side to Joker and Harley's relationship in Suicide Squad once it arrives on Blu-ray and Digital, it's time to see another side of Joker in toy-form.
Hot Toys has released the images of its upcoming Suicide Squad Joker, this time in his tuxedo outfit. Seen in the images below, he isn't sporting the maniacal silver-toothed laughing Joker. Rather, it's Jared's closest impression of a smoldering maniac Clown Prince of Crime.
Over at Hot Toys' Facebook page, the company released a few screenshots, as well as details of what comes with the new Suicide Squad Joker collectible figure.
"In the DC Films blockbuster Suicide Squad, Academy Award-winning actor Jared Leto delivers an edgy new take on the Joker unlike anything we've ever seen before. The flamboyant makeup and wardrobe certainly makes his ballsy performance even more fun and memorable. Today Hot Toys is excited to announce the new 1/6th scale collectible figure of the Clown Prince of Crime in formal wear—a black tuxedo that highlights his manic charisma!"
Joker's face is a movie-accurate version of Leto's image in that scene where he crashes the Squad's party to rescue his ladylove. The Joker figure has a painted head sculpt, tailored costume, and detailed weapons and accessories. The head even features that Damaged tattoo (as somewhat annoying as that tattoo is) and the J under his left eye.
The figure includes his golden gun, the purple pistol, a grenade, and his purple walking stick. His suit even includes the white bowtie and rose for a nice touch.
The hands are changeable, and to top it all off, there's also a Suicide Squad-themed figure stand with a backdrop for posing your Joker on your desk.
