Here’s How You Can Play Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Before Everyone Else

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 currently has a divided fan base following the recently announced DLC plan. However, if you're an EA Access subscriber, there's one way to sample the game before making that big commitment.

EA has already opened a preorder page for the game. While it gives a briefer on what fans can expect to get when they either preorder the game or get the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition, there's one other detail lurking in the fine print.

At the bottom of the page, the publisher has announced one way to get a headstart from the rest:

"Try Star Wars Battlefront II starting November 9 when you join EA Access on Xbox one or Origin Access on PC. Your progress carries over to the full game if you decide to buy."

Looking closely at the schedule, this puts EA Access subscribers a head start of eight full days ahead of everyone else and even five days before the preorder batch gets any access.

The sad thing here is that, if you are a PS4 player, then you'll be left with no choice but to wait it out with the preorder batch as the earliest possible access.

Preordering isn't bad, considering that even without the Deluxe Edition, you get the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Heroes, which put Kylo Ren- and Rey-themed looks from this year's movie in your arsenal. That's alongside epic ability upgrades and the three-day early access bonus.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be out on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
