Here's How Long It Would Take To Complete Star Wars Battlefront II's Campaign

One of the biggest changes in Star Wars Battlefront II is addition of the single-player campaign mode, which will follow the story of Iden Versio, the leader of an Imperial Special Forces group known as Inferno Squad. Now, a producer on the game is saying that it would take "around 5-7, maybe 8 hours" to finish the entire campaign.

During an interview with Press Start, Motive studio producer David Robillard said that the team "wanted to stay very driven towards the Star Wars fantasy that the players are going to experience and not have it be drawn out".

Robillard was also asked about the possibility of adding downloadable content to the story campaign, and his response was: "We're not ready to announce anything at this time," he explained, "we'll see based on the reception the single player has, if we offer free DLC or not."

It took IGN two hours to complete the game's first three chapters, so that should give us an idea how the mission is divdided up. That's pretty much the average duration for a shooter games' campaign modes. More players would probably spend more time on the game's multiplayer mode, but I'm just glad that they added a campaign mode this time around.

Iden Versio's story takes place between Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 27.
