Henry Cavill’s Superman Mustache In Justice League Revealed

It looks like a photo of Henry Cavill's controversial Superman mustache in Justice League has finally made its way online.

Cavill's mustache caused a lot of trouble for the DC Extended Universe superhero team-up film. Not only did it pose problems for Justice League's reshoots, adding to the production's many, many expenses, it also caused a lot of awkward scenes in the actual film.

Though the photo has long since been on the website of Justice League re-recording mixer Chris Jenkins ( the website's cached view confirms that the image has been up on the site since March 28, proving that the post doesn't have anything to do with April Fools), it's just since been discovered by Reel Anarchy.

In the photo, fans get to see the edit booth where the audio for Justice League is being finalized and in the screen, we get to see Cavill's Superman with his mustache and a slight crop of stubble. The look comes from the actor's stint in Mission Impossible: Fallout. The actor was contractually obligated to keep the mustache while in the process of filming the most recent Mission Impossible entry, a circumstance which caused a lot of problems for Justice League.

The beard might look great on Cavill, but the mustache and the stubble just show how challenging it was for Justice League's VFX team to take fix the actor's look for the film. No wonder the production's budget ballooned. It's such a shame that the film didn't turn out so well.
