Hawkeye Rumored To Appear in Ant-Man And The Wasp

It looks like an Avenger is making an appearance in the sequel to Paul Rudd's solo film debut as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Man.

According to a report by Showbizz411 Jeremy Renner is set to reprise his role as Marvel's Hawkeye not just in both Avengers: Infinity War films but in Ant-Man and The Wasp as well.

Marvel has not indicated on how long Hawkeye will stay in the film and how large a role he'll be playing, however if the combination of both Infinity War films and Ant-Man and The Wasp has been enough to have Renner miss Mission: Impossible 6, it's likely that Renner will be playing an important role in the film.

While it's certain that the film will center on its leads, Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, Renner's inclusion could be somewhat similar to the inclusion of Anthony Mackie's Falcon in the first Ant-Man movie. Or it could be much heavier – we can only be certain once Marvel gives a confirmation. Either way, it seems like Hawkeye would fit just right in Ant-Manand The Wasp since the character's already bonded with Ant-Man in Captain America: Civil War, replicating the iconic arrow-riding scene.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is scheduled for release on July 6, 2018.
