Han Solo: Is This Set Photo Supposed To Be For Tatooine?

Production for the Han Solo spinoff movie is currently underway, and a lot of fans are scraping whatever they can find on the internet for information on the movie. Thanks to Prensa Imperial (via ComicBook.com), we get a set photo of what looks to be Tatooine — either that or a third desert planet in the Star Wars universe.

That set image is located on Fuerteventura on the Canary Islands.

Now if Rogue One could end mere minutes from A New Hope, there's no doubt in my mind that the Han Solo movie will explain just how Han ended up in the Mos Eisley Cantina. After all the flak Force Awakens got from introducing another desert planet, Jakku, surely Lucasfilm doesn't feel the need to shoehorn in a third sand planet.

So far, most of the Star Wars news we're getting is from The Last Jedi, but we get some Han Solo news from time to time. Hopefully we can get some screenshots of Alden Ehrenreich as the galaxy's favorite smuggler later in the year. I'm guessing we'll get something big on the 25th — a full year before the release of the movie.

Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to come out on May 25, 2018.
