Eddie Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) have been a part of Gotham since the very first season, and over the years we've watched them grow into the characters they will eventually become in the Batman lore. Now with the final season in the works, we have some set photos of Smith and Taylor in full garb as the Riddler and the Penguin.

Though the show has promised to give a darker take with its villains over the years, I can't help but feel that the Riddler and the Penguin look a lot more cartoonish in these photos. Heck, you may think that they jumped right out of the Adam West version of Batman.
I don't know what kind of spin this show is trying to pull, but I'm sure that it's going to be something that fans of the show will love. After all, this final season is said to finally show us Bruce Wayne becoming Batman, and what's more classic Batman than two villains being tied together and hung from a streetlamp?
No doubt, we're going to be seeing more classic characters come to form before the show ends. We know that we're going to get Bane in the final season, but there're also the likes of Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and the rest. Let's also not forget about Jeremiah Valeska a.k.a. Joker.
