GOTG's Dave Bautista Praises Josh Brolin's Work On Cable

Josh Brolin is a year away from being 50-yrs-old, and the guy is still working his ass off in the Hollywood grind. After being cast as Cable in Deadpool 2, Brolin has been hard at work in the gym, and Guardians of the Galaxy's Dave Bautista—also a serious bodybuilder—has noticed.

Everyone is apparently impressed with Brolin's hard work on his Cable transformation. Even Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds is posting about it:

Next year will be a big year for Brolin. Besides the release of Deadpool 2, Marvel Studios will also be releasing the first part of Avengers: Infinity War, and Brolin will be playing the ultimate Marvel villain—The Mad Titan a.k.a. Thanos. Let's hope he does a stellar job at both.

Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and stars Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth. Josh Brolin will be playing time-travelling mutant Cable, and Zazie Beetz will be playing the role of Domino. Expect other characters like Weasel (TJ Miller), Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), and Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) to make a return as well.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters June 1, 2018.
