Geoff Johns Reveals The Official Justice League Title

When the official title of Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was announced, many fans criticized the it for different reasons. Many thought "Dawn of Justice" sounds cheesy, and the way it used "V" instead of "VS". When the rumored titles for the Justice League film was announced earlier this week, a lot of fans thought that DC would be repeating their mistake of using a cheap title for the superhero epic. But now, DC's Geoff Johns cleared up fans' misconceptions, and announced the official title as just Justice League. It's simple, straightforward, and not cheesy.

Geoff Johns is now the head of Warner Bros.' DC Films division, and it didn't take long for him to act after the rumored titles were shared online. The original rumor came from Umberto Gonzales, who claimed that Warner Bros. and DC were considering four different titles. The titles include Justice League: United, Justice League: Angels & Demons, Justice League: Gods Among Us and Justice League: Gods Among Men. Here's what Geoff said on Twitter:

It seems that Warner Bros. is distancing Justice League from Batman v. Superman by trimming down its title to something simple. After all, we've never seen a big screen adaptation of Justice League. Justice League is currently filming in the UK, and it's set to release in theaters on November 17 ,2017.
