Garruk is back in Magic: The Gathering's upcoming Throne of Eldraine expansion, and today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed the Planeswalker card featuring the Cursed Huntsman.
It's been a long time since we've last seen Garruk, and now he's back in this new card. Check out "Garruk, Cursed Huntsman":
As the first chapter of Kate Elliott's Throne of Eldraine ebook, The Wildered Quest, revealed, Garruk is mesmerized and enslaved by the fey shapeshifter planeswalker, Oko (his card was revealed too).
A Planeswalker card that can create two 2/2 black and green Wolf creature tokens each turn at the cost of 0 Loyalty is not bad, and if those tokens die, Garruk can gain more Loyalty to pull off its ultimate that gives you a powerful emblem for your army of creatures. I can see this deck used in midrange strategies.
