Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere Date Leaked

The seventh season of HBO's epic fantasy series Game of Thrones still hasn't been given an official return date by the network as of yet and though the show has been pinned for this summer, fans are dying to know its exact return date. After all, HBO's television adaptation of George R.R. Martin's fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire is one of the most highly anticipated series on television. Now, as fans continue to patiently wait for official news regarding Game of Thrones return, it seems like a new release date has been leaked by the show's IMDb page.

First spotted by Counsel&Heal, the Game of Thrones leaked IMDb return date indicates that the seventh season of the series would be returning to HBO on June 25 this year. The date coincides with HBO's pegged schedule for the Summer, however it's still no cause for celebration. The leaked release date is still a long time away - 22 weeks long to be exact.

Fans are also advised to take the information with a grain of salt. While IMDb's release dates often coincide with the show's, the date could have been very well placed on the page as a placeholder for the actual return date for Game of Thrones. The only thing to do is keep vigilant and wait for HBO's official confirmation.
