Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones was definitely one of the best we've seen from the show, and the Battle of the Bastards is probably the most epic scene we've seen in any TV show (You can read our full review here), so it's no surprise that it has already taken the throne of IMDB's TV show rankings.
The ninth episode of the sixth season, Battle of the Bastards, is now on the top of IMDB's Top 100 Episodes of all TV series. The episode opened with spectacular action Meereen before focusing on the War for Winterfell. Jon Snow's army battled against Ramsay's men in one of the most epic action sequences captured for television. It was one of the most satisfying episodes to watch, and I definitely would watch it again and again. Truly a masterpiece.
A couple of other Game of Thrones episodes were also in IMDB's Top 100 episodes: The Rain of Castamere or "The Red Wedding" (#8 spot) and the ninth spot went to the unforgettable White Walker episode Hardhome. Both Hardhome and Battle of the Bastards were directed by the talented Miguel Sapochnik.
