Gal Gadot Talks Meeting Lynda Carter and Wonder Woman Costume Test

At Rhode Island Comic Con, Gal Gadot talked about the ups and downs of her role as Wonder Woman, Geektyrantreports. Gadot portrayed Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will be playing her in the upcoming Justice League film and Wonder Woman solo movie. She discussed everything from her first costume fitting to meeting Lynda Carter.

Gadot described her first costume fitting for Batman v Superman as "tight. Very, very, very, very tight." She says she tried in on in a hangar in Michigan that was "huge, with tons of white walls covered with posters of me as Wonder Woman. I got into the room and I couldn't stop looking at the posters."

She said that "when they wanted me to try on the costume—because I was so excited that they cast me for the role—I couldn't say anything; I couldn't breathe, but I was like, 'That's okay. That's fine.' It was really-really tight, and we adjusted it."

Gadot is fond of the costume, saying "I love the costume. I think, it complements Wonder Woman very much so, as being the greatest warrior out there. And now it's much more comfortable."

Gadot also talked about meeting Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the 1970s TV show, She said, " I saw Lynda, so I couldn't keep my coolness…I was like, ‘Lynda, oh my God, I'm so happy to see you, to meet you, finally."

She says of Carter, " it's very clear to me why she was the very first Wonder Woman to be cast, because she is such an inspiring, beautiful, happy, funny, strong confident woman who immediately makes you, you know she makes you feel comfortable around her, and she's eye level, she's great."

Gadot revealed that she got pregnant a few weeks into the production of Justice League, which caused her to get "heavy migraines from green screens", She tried to keep her pregnancy a secret as long as possible, but Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman, figured it out.

It's nice to hear Gadot had such a good time meeting Carter and is so excited about her role. I hope things continue to go well. What do you think of her words?
