‘Flying’ Karen Gillan Shown in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Set Photo

Karen Gillan has shared an amusing behind-the-scenes photo while filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The photo shows the 28-year-old actress propped up in the air by wires and a harness, and seemingly flying around on set with blue screens on the background, much like the skin color of her character in the movie. Gillan plays Nebula, the bald-headed, cyborg assassin daughter of supervillain, Thanos.

Check out Gillan's behind-the-scenes photo:

Noticeable in the image is Gillan's full head of hair, which means there's a chance we might not see her character bald in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel. In the Marvel Comics Universe, Nebula is a pirate and mercenary with long, black hair and who's rumored to be the granddaughter of Thanos.

Of course, Gillan could simply be rehearsing. It would be cool to see the red-haired actress in a brunette wig though.
