First Official Set Photo For Black Panther Released

A few behind-the-scenes images from Chadwick Boseman's first Black Panther solo made its way online last week, showcasing the Marvel superhero's car surfing skills as the King of Wakanda props himself on top of a blue sports car.

Now Disney gives fans their very first official look at the same car-surfing scene shot at Busan City in South Korea. The image which was released by Walt Disney Company Korea gives fans a larger shot of the scene which can be seen below:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Busan citizens were warned of traffic restrictions and noise made for that particular chase scene for Black Panther which used 150 cars and more than 700 people. Aside from that street, other shooting locations in South Korea included some of the country's landmarks like Marine City, Jagalci fish Market, Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the Sajik-dong area. The shoot for the film is to come to an end this week. Since marketing for Black Panther hasn't begun, there still isn't much information on the film's central plot or synopsis, however the new set photo does tell fans that production is going smoothly.

Black Panther is scheduled for release on Feb. 16, 2018.
