First Look At Vin Diesel As Valiant's Bloodshot

It looks like the Bloodshot movie is definitely happening. Vin Diesel has just shared the first look at Ray Garrison from the upcoming Valiant Comics film.

"Let the Valiant era begin..." Diesel wrote before adding the hashtag #Bloodshot2020. Although there's not much to see in the picture, it certainly confirms that the movie has already started production.

Bloodshot is one of the most popular characters in Valiant comics and he is also known for a very distinct appearance. Ray Garrison is usually illustrated with pale white skin and blood-red eyes. Since Diesel still looks very much like his regular self, it's possible that the image depicts Ray when he was still a soldier before he was injected with nanites. Hopefully, we'll see more of his actual Bloodshot look soon.

Ray isn't the first comic book character that Diesel has portrayed. He also provides the voice of Groot (adult, baby, and teen) in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. It is still unclear if he will return to voice the character in Avengers: Endgame but given Diesel's affinity for spoilers, we'll probably get an update right before the premiere.

The Bloodshot movie will also star Sam Heughan, Eiza González, Tallulah Riley, and Toby Kebbell. Guy Pearce, who previously portrayed Marvel character Aldrich Killian in Iron Man 3, will play Dr. Emil Harting in the film.

Bloodshot is scheduled for release on February 21, 2020.
