Transformers: Combine Wars, a new aimated series that Hasbro is developing with Machinima, is targeted to adult fans who enjoyed the original series in the '80's. The show focuses on Transformers who can join and combine to transform into larger robots like Devastator and Superion. The project was announced last year, and now, we got a first look at the characters who will be featured in Combiner Wars.
The series would introduce a "new lore and all-new characters that, combined with the characters fans have known for decades, will bring the Transformers storytelling in a new direction as the Machinima series will deliver raging action and signature humor to legions of Transformers fans."
The art style definitely looks cool and more mature than previous Transformers animated shows. I just hope the animation would be as slick.
The series will launch in August on go90, and you can watch the four-episode prelude series on June 28 acoss YouTube, Facebook, and go90.
