First Look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Constable Zuvio

Constable Zuvio is a mysterious character from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and he was officially revealed by Empire magazine. As you can see in the image above, he kind of looks like an alien version of Mortal Kombat's Raiden.

Lucasfilm has only officially mentioned the character twice up until now. According to the official Starwars.com database, his character description reads, "A vigilant law officer on a mostly lawless world, the tough and humorless Constable Zuvio keeps order in a frontier trading post."

The frontier trading post is in fact the desert planet of Jakku, which Lucasfilm officially announced at their books panel at NYCC. The character will appear in Landry Walker's short story called High Noon at Jakku. The story will be published in Tales from a Galaxy Far, Far Away on April 26, 2016, and the eBook release of the story is November 24, 2015, making it his first official appearance.

The official description of the story reads: "A renegade droid causes problems for Constable Zuvio on Jakku."

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in theaters on Dec. 18.
