The Force has awakened in Marvel Comics.
Less than a week after Marvel released a first look of its Star Wars: Han Solo series, the publishing company is once again releasing a preview on another of its brand new, ongoing series about the best pilot in the galaxy, Poe Dameron.
Written by Charles Soule (Lando, Obi-Wan and Anakin) with artwork by Phil Noto (Chewbacca) and covers by Phil Noto, John Cassaday, and Joe Quinones among others, Star Wars: Poe Dameron will focus on the adventures of former Republic flyer turned Resistance starfighter pilot, Poe Dameron, and BB-8 prior to the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Poe has been hand-picked by General Leia Organa for the Resistance, and together with a squadron of X-Wing pilots and BB-8 of course, Dameron will go on a top-secret mission that will save the galaxy.

Star Wars: Poe Dameron Issue #1 has a cover price of $3.99. The first issue will also include a special 9-page back-up story about BB-8's own adventures by writer/artist Chris Eliopoulos (Hawkeye).
The comic book will hit shelves and digital devices on April 6, so mark your calendars!
