First Look at Characters for Star Wars: Resistance

Dave Filoni had a successful run with Star Wars Rebels, and now he's working on another Star Wars series called Resistance. Some images of the art have been revealed at France's RDVDisney 2018, and it gives us a look at the protagonist Kazuda Yono's crew as well as the First Order.

Unlike Filoni's previous work, Resistance is said to be using the 2D format instead, and will be rather anime-inspired. This series will be in a timeline prior to The Force Awakens, and on the Resistance side you can see BB-8 and possibly Poe Dameron at the back. The ship in the front also look incredibly different from the one that was shown in the first reveal months ago.

As for the left side of the photo, we have the First Order, and it looks like it's Captain Phasma that's going to be the main antagonist of the show. We also have a new look at a red-armored trooper, which I assumed at first to be a Praetorian guard.

Of course, my guess on Phasma being the antagonist is just a guess, but seeing how underutilized she is the films, I would love to see the character brought to her full potential in one way or another.

Star Wars: Resistance comes out sometime later this year.
