First Full Trailer For Pacific Rim: Uprising Will Debut At NY Comic-Con

We've gotten our first teaser for the upcoming sequel to Pacific Rim, but we still have no idea when we can get a good first look at the movie. It looks like we don't have to wait that long as the first full trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising is said to debut at the New York Comic-Con.

According to Heroic Hollywood, the first trailer for uprising will screen on a special panel on Oct. 6, 12 p.m. ET in a theater in Madison Square Garden. The panel will include all the main stars of the film (like John Boyega) and will also have director Steven S. DeKnight answering questions from the audience.

We don't have that much info on the story, but we do know that Boyega will be playing the son of Idris Elba's Stacker Pentecost from the last movie—Jake Pentecost. Charlie Day and Rinko Kikuchi are also set to reprise their roles from the first movie.

By the looks of the teaser, the Jaegers look to have made a few changes, and they look skinnier and quicker than the mechs from the first movie. Not to mention, it looks like they can now be piloted by a single person, as compared to the original Jaegers that needed two pilots to control the thing.

Pacific Rim: Uprising comes out March 23, 2018.
