Elmo Meets Batman, John Mulaney, and More in Trailer for The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo

HBO Max is set to come out this May, and with all the original content coming in, we have a new trailer for a kid-friendly talk show called The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. The show has a lot of great gags, and guests, from real-life celebrities to fictional characters like Batman.

The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo is the brand-new talk show transforming late night. Elmo, his sidekick Cookie Monster, and other favorite Sesame Street friends invite the whole family to tune-in together as they interview celebrities and musical guests, explore the latest in pop culture, and play trendy games, all with humor and heart.

We don't know exactly what to expect with this show, but I imagine it's going to involve a lot more games and performances. I don't really expect the guests to come and tell Elmo their real-life stories, I mean, I had no interest in those when I was a kid, so I imagine kids today don't either.

With Batman appearing though, I'm curious if we get more WB-owned fictional characters like Harry Potter, Newt Scamander, or DC Heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman.

Just in case you're wondering on whether Disney has any stake in this show since they own The Muppets, it turns out, they don't. Sesame Street is actually owned by Sesame Workshop, and the Muppets (along with Bear in the Big Blue House) is owned by Disney.

The Not-Too-Late Show is probably just one of more exclusive content from HBO Max. With the service set to come out next month, we should be getting a look at more of their upcoming original shows.

Catch The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo when it comes out May 27 on HBO Max.
