Lucafilm recently released the third trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and it left many to question some interesting details the new footage revealed. Mr. Sunday Movies takes the time to analyze and dissect these images in his new video. Watch the video below:
The video highlights Jedah, the moon where the first Jedi temple was built, and where the lightsaber material, Kyber crystals are found. The video went on to speculate the backgrounds of Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) and Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen), as well as Darth Vader's return. The latter half of the video speculates on the upcoming Star Wars spinoff films, saying that they might focus on Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, or a group of Jedi in a 7 Samurai-style story.
Disney chief Bob Iger recently confirmed that the third Star Wars Story film will be released in 2020, but no word yet about its story details. I'm hoping that it would either be Boba Fett-centric or Obi-Wan. Ewan McGregor recently expressed his interest on starring in a couple of Obi-Wan films.
